Concepts & Methodology

• Halite Silver Studios takes an inside out approach to web and application development, using key marketing concepts of the targeted consumer with the branding image of the client. This document describes the methods Halite Silver Studios proposes to achieve the objectives of the client’s project:
• Discovery, design, development, testing & verification, launch
• Discovery: Halite Silver Studios will conduct research of the client’s business needs, identifying target markets and key trends in the industry. This is accomplished by providing the client with detailed questionnaires and conversations with the client throughout the project. The HSS development team will essentially use the information gathered to create a development ‘road map’ for the project which guides the course of the project to ensure a quality end product.
• Design: HSS will create a highly professional custom theme based on the client’s design preferences. A unique themed design, along with possible variations of each theme, will be created and presented for the client to review. The client will approve design specifications based off advice and expertise as provided by the HSS development team. HSS has included a significant amount of time for the design and development of custom page formatting. Custom page formatting will help tie your design together with content. Some examples may include graphical buttons or text, custom graphics for headings, and or page advertisements.
• Development: HSS will develop all web pages with text and content provided by the client. Pages will include pictures, services information, company information, and general event planning information, as well as other valuable selling points and informational pages to further expand the client’s branding image. HSS will format text into HTML using web practices, and controlling all elements with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to ensure proper layout control. All elements will be verified to display properly in all standard internet browsers that the client deems necessary.
• Testing & Verification: HSS takes pride in delivering complete solutions, including multiple rounds of testing and debugging of all design and application functionality. All issues will be resolved prior to moving on to the next step in the process. After final testing, HSS will perform the tasks necessary to move the development environment to a live production server. Databases, software packages, and files will all be moved and properly configured to ensure a seamless deployment.
